Axumite Journal of Business and Development (AJBD)

The AXUMITE Journal of Business and Development (AJBD) serve as a premier international, open-access forum for the dissemination of high-quality, multi- and interdisciplinary research at business, economics, and societal advancement. Axumite Journal of Multidisciplinary Science(ajms)

Aksum University was officially established in 2007 under Proclamation 691/2010 and Article 5(1) of the Higher Education Proclamation 650/2009, with the primary mission of serving the nation through the delivery of quality and relevant academic, research, and outreach services. In fulfilling its mandates, the university has consistently excelled in disseminating its achievements and performances to the public, government and non-governmental bodies, and institutions through various channels including media outlets, formal reports, conference proceedings, and bulletins. The College of Natural and Computational Sciences (CNCS), one of the pioneer academic units of the university since its inception, is dedicated to teaching, research, and community services within the fields of natural and computational sciences. Academic staff of the college have been actively engaged in research activities sponsored by the university and other funding sources over recent years. The launch of a journal provides a valuable platform for disseminating the knowledge generated by staff members and encourages researchers to contribute their scientific findings to the local, national, and international community. The proposed journal is named the "Axumite Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences (AJMS)," encompassing various sub-themes under its scope.

Axumite Journal of Agriculture and Environmental (AJAE)

Aksum University established by the Ministry of Education in 2007 with proclamation NO. 1152/2009; is mandated to serve as a higher education institution providing quality and relevant academic, research and community engagement. Besides doing its responsibilities properly, the university has been disseminating its performances and achievements in the three mandates to the public and the government through the media, reports, publications, conference proceedings and bulletins. As the academic staff have been highly involved in research activities sponsored by the university itself and other sources since its inception, launching a new journal can serve as a means of promoting the knowledge contributed by the staff and encouraging researchers for further contributions to the local, national and international community. The name of the journal is “Axumite Journal of Agriculture and Environment (AJAE)” containing different sub themes under it. This working manual of the journal includes its own mission, vision, objectives, organizational structure, descriptions, significance, benefits, scope, quality of the journal, selection criteria’s for papers to be published, roles and responsibilities of editors, editorial freedom, conflict of interest disclosure, editorial board participation, roles and responsibilities of reviewers, reviewers selection, ethical clearance and responsibilities of reviewers, rewarding reviewers, editor-in-chief and selection criteria, timeliness of the publication process, journal ownership and authors’ guide, among others.
